I am fascinated by most things Oriental, and Mongolian art is the most inspiring to me. This ensemble has key elements that are Mongolian, and others that are based on a general Oriental look. Mongolian costumes are colorful, with embroidery and bead work. While the Tunic, Belt, Pants, and Hat are easy to sew, the Vest is a little harder. I hope you enjoy sewing your Mongolian costume as much as I enjoyed creating this pattern!
