Gowns in the 1850s era were very full and demanded the use of yards and yards of fabric. Due to the occasional shortage of fabric, many seamstresses combined fabrics, assembling them artfully to complete a dress. This is my version of the concept. It is very fun to sew and very rewarding when finished. Have fun sewing!
