What Is A Pattern Proof? When a Pattern Maker is certain that the pattern pieces are fitting perfectly, and that the instructions match the sewing methods used in designing the pattern, she sews a Pattern Proof to show what the finished results of using the pattern and following the instructions will be. These are not "One Of A Kind Designs".  The works that I label as such are not crafted from patterns, but are created by draping and sewing on and alongside the doll, using my intimate knowledge of the shape and curves of the particular doll's body, to create something that is unique unto itself.  There is no mold or pattern for my OOAK Designs, and I do not make patterns for them at a later time. That said, my Pattern Proofs are singular in nature, and I will never create any copies of them either.  The fabric choices and the embellishments are unique and are to show how nice the pattern will look if sewn well.  My Pattern Proofs have my label, and the workmanship is the finest quality I am capable of performing.
